Winter Policy

Effective from 9th October 2023 – 31st March 2024

The Policy consists of 2 ‘stages’ – amber and red.

AMBER

The course is open with the following restrictions in place:

Buggies – use allowed by registered users only.

Electric / Pull / Push Trolleys – use allowed by registered users only but Winter/ Hedgehog wheels must be fitted.

Fairway mats must be used or alternatively the golfer must play from the first cut of rough.


RED

The course is open with the following restrictions in place:

Buggies – Allowed by registered users only and ideally must keep in the rough where possible but can go on the fairway if it is drier, please use common sense.

Electric / Pull / Push Trolleys – use allowed by registered users only but Winter/ Hedgehog wheels must be fitted and ideally must keep in the rough where possible but can go on the fairway if it is drier, please use common sense.

Fairway mats must be used or alternatively the golfer must play from the first cut of rough.


Additional Information

Course Update - Each day there will be a sign out by the 1st tee, informing members which stage is in place. The telephone message will also be updated daily as will the website message.

Self-Certification Form - For those that cannot carry their bag and require the use of a ride on buggy, power trolley or push/pull trolley, you must register your name in the Office. 

Local Winter Rules – Local Winter Rules will come into effect from 9th October 2023. A copy can be found on the Club Notice Board and on the Club Website.
