We would appreciate as many members as possible to carry their bags during this period -- but appreciate some cannot do this
Therefore dependent on weather and course conditions the following winter rules will be in place which take into account both Health and Safety issues and also course damage.
All trolleys (electric / push / pull) must be fitted with Hedgehog/Winter (or similar) wheels and we ask members to use a light bag and fewer clubs if possible.
All members who need to use a single buggy or electric / push / pull trolley/ must fill in a self certification certificate, available in the office, and get a winter bag tag.
On occasions (Amber or Red course protection stage) all members will be asked to use winter mats if they wish to play off the fairways -- alternatively players who do not want to do this must take their ball to first cut of rough and play from there.
We will post a local winter rule on the noticeboards to cover this process. Winter mats can be obtained from the Professionals shop at a nominal cost of £5 and this will be refunded at the end of winter if the mat is returned.
