Mens

Our Men’s section is a friendly and welcoming environment in which to play golf, whatever your ability and experience.

Competitions are run at the weekends alternating between Saturdays and Sundays to accommodate today’s work / life style commitments. Plus we also host a more relaxed Wednesday accumulator competition.

Throughout the season, the Men’s section plays a number matches against other local clubs, and it is a great opportunity to socialize and play a round at other clubs as well as hosting visiting teams.

During the winter we run a Sunday Morning Shotgun start competition usually in pairs or teams.

Ladies

Join our friendly, enthusiastic, ladies section for leisure and experience of: 

• Playing in a welcoming club at all levels for social pleasure and competitions. The club is one of the first in Lancashire to be awarded the ‘Women in Golf Charter’ status (January 2021) 
• Thursday and Weekend competitions with tee time availability for working ladies 
• ‘Get Into Golf’ Learning in a relaxed group atmosphere in a fun, structured programme 
• Lancashire Ladies' County Team Competitions 
• Opportunity to play in National and County Events 
• Junior Events including coaching and regular competitions 
• Mixed Events:  Manchester Alliance KO (Archie Preston) and Club Knockouts 
• Manchester & District Ladies Golf Association events and Bell Cup Knockout 
• Lancashire County Ladies' Senior Golf Events  
• PGA Teaching and Coaching available 
• Social events 

Seniors

Our Seniors Section is a well supported and very active element of the club. It is open to members of the club who are over 55 years of age. The section has a full complement of competitions as well as home and away matches with local clubs

During the winter months, Seniors meet each Friday morning to play better-ball Stableford competition. For recently retired, or new members at Haydock Park, this is the ideal way to become acquainted with other members! There is a wide range of golfing ability and you play with different golf partners to enjoy the friendly rivalry offered in these games.

In the summer there are friendly home and away matches with other clubs. Our opponents include Hillside, West Lancs, Worsley and Ormskirk. and the day includes lunch after golf.

Juniors

It is our ambition to give all young people at Haydock Park the opportunity to get involved in golf and develop their skills at a level that suits them.

We are committed to ensuring young people have access to quality opportunities and to growing our Junior section.

We provide an introduction to the golf club environment and are working on ensuring the facility is junior friendly and welcoming.

We offer a comprehensive structured learning programme which motivate through a focus on fun and learning.

There are a range of competitive opportunities for all abilities at our club from beginner girls and boys to developing players.
