Course Etiquette

An integral part of the Rules of Golf include guidance on the Etiquette of the game.

Safety of Players

You must ensure that other players or greens staff are comfortably out of range before making a stroke. It should be noted that greens staff on the course always have priority.
Should you play a 'stray' shot, which may put someone at risk, you and your playing partners MUST give a clear and audible warning and visually indicate the line of the ball's flight.

A call must be made if there is 'any possibility' that a ball may reach someone or that someone who may be hidden from view is at possible risk.

Protection of the Course
Trolleys and buggies should not be taken on to Tees, Greens, between green side bunkers or on the fringers of the green. Increased traffic in these locations can cause damage to important playing areas of the course.
Divots should be replaced where possible to minimise long term damage to the putting service. It is to the benefit of all players to repair any pitch marks observed on the greens.
Bunkers care should be taken when entering and leaving bunkers to avoid damage to the edges. Sand should be rakes to produce a smooth even surface for the next player and you should avoid dragging the sand backwards to the edge. rakes should be carefully replaced in the bunker or on the stand provided after use.

If we all follow these guidelines, our course will always remain in pristine condition.
