No form of footwear other than golf shoes of an approved type, i.e with spikes or rubber soles, must be worn. Training shoes or flip-flop sandals are not permitted footwear anywhere on Club premises. Golf shoes of any type are not allowed in the bar areas or lounges, only in the locker room.
Collarless shirts or tee shirts (vest type) are not allowed on the course, patio or in the clubhouse. Polo neck shirts and turtle neck shirts sold specifically for golf wear are allowed. Collarless sweaters are not allowed unless a collared polo or turtle neck shirt is worn underneath.
Shirts of any description MUST be tucked into trousers or shorts. Shirts bearing motifs, slogans and/or illustrations are not allowed on the course, patio or in the clubhouse. The maker's logo e.g. 'Pringle' is acceptable.
Jeans, denim clothing of any description or tracksuits are not allowed on the course, pation area or in the clubhouse.
Tailored shorts of modest length may be worn on the course and in the clubhouse but are not allowed to be worn at presentations, or in the dining area, except at Club specified events. Neither 'cargo' type shorts (large patch pockets) football shorts or calf length shorts/trousers are allowed on the course, patio area or in the clubhouse. The Captain, at his discretion, may decide to carry out presentations on the patio; on these occasions, tailored shorts may be worn.
Trousers must not be tucked into socks or stockings unless waterproofs are being worn.
When wearing shorts, it should be evident that suitably recognisable white golf socks are being worn.
Jackets and Ties are preferred. however Smart Casual Dress is welcomed in the Main Lounge/Dining Area at any time.
Members wearing work clothes or any of the restricted items above may enter the changing rooms for the purpose of changing to play golf but will not be allowed in any other part of the clubhouse, patio area or on thr course.
The Professional, Secretary Manager and Golf Club Staff have been instructed to refuse to serve anyone contravening these rules.
