Application Procedure

Procedure For Membership

Applications will only be considered from prospective members who have fully completed a Membership Application Form. The Membership Committee meet monthly to consider all applications for membership.

Prospective membership to the Club is open to the whole community irrespective of ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or beliefs; or of age, sex or disability except as a necessary consequence of the requirements of golf as a particular sport.

Stage 1

The Membership Committee will invite suitable applicants to attend an interview.

Stage 2


Following interview, the Membership Committee will instruct the Secretary Manager to display on the Club notice board, for a period of fourteen days, the name of the prospective new member. This gives existing members the opportunity to raise any objections they may have about the applicant.

Once the application has been displayed for fourteen days it will be put before the next available Directors meeting for approval.

Stage 3

If the application is approved, the Secretary Manager will write to the applicant offering membership and enclosing the appropriate invoice.

Once the invoice is paid, the applicant will be formally accepted as a member. The first three months of membership are on a probationary basis.
