Haydock Park Clubhouse - Front View
Founded in 1877, Haydock Park Golf Club is a well-established golf course situated near Haydock Park Racecourse. It is a mature parkland course of just over 6,000 yards. The course was designed by the famous golf course architect James Braid, who you can find more information about by clicking here.

Haydock Park is one of the North West's premier golf clubs; it's tree-lined fairways and well bunkered greens make scoring well a real challenge, for both high and low handicappers. We welome visitors every day during the week except Tuesdays (Ladies Competition Day) and weekends.

Membership is currently available for both Gentlemen and Ladies, more information on subscriptions and the application procedure can be found via the 'Membership' section of the website. If you wish to take a tour of our course, with various images and a detailed description of each hole, simply navigate to the course tour by clicking 'The Course' above.

Wednesday Competitions Posted on: 19th August 2010

Due to the increasingly successful impact of these competitions, it is important that the speed of play is maintained, particularly for the later afternoon starters. To this end, for 2011, visiting parties will be limited to a morning 18 hole start thereby allowing the entire afternoon for member commencement of rounds. It is envisaged that this move will allow later starters to commence from the 10th tee as well as the 1st, thereby alleviating pressure at the peak late afternoon period.

Victory Trophy Results Posted on: 17th June 2010

However, such was the quality of our play we secured the Hulbert-Powell Trophy for the TEAM NETT prize, by a margin of 19 shots from the rest of the field. Barry Giblin was 2nd best gross score on 139, while Jonathan Whalley was 2nd best nett score on 137.
