Welcome
Founded in 1877, Haydock Park Golf Club is a well-established golf course situated near Haydock Park Racecourse. It is a mature parkland course of just over 6,000 yards. The course was designed by the famous golf course architect James Braid, who you can find more information about by clicking here.
Haydock Park is one of the North West's premier golf clubs; it's tree-lined fairways and well bunkered greens make scoring well a real challenge but it is always in excellent condition and a fair test of golf for both high and low handicappers. We welome visitors every day during the week except Tuesdays (Ladies only) and weekends.
Membership is currently available for both Gentlemen and Ladies, more information on subscriptions and the application procedure can be found via the 'Membership' section of the website. Quiz Night Postponed

Due to the awful weather conditions and parlous state underfoot, the quiz night which was scheduled for Saturday 9th January has been cancelled and will be rearranged for a date later in the year.
Winter Rules - Electric Trolleys

Due to the substantial amount of rainfall in recent days, the published one weeks notice of implementation of the Winter moratorium on electric trolleys has had to be curtailed. The Winter Policy will now take effect from Monday 9th November, 2009. It would be most appreciated if golfers could carry their bags during the period. Pull trolleys are allowed, but permission must be sought to use an electric powered trolley throughout the Winter period. Those individuals who received permission last year must re-apply for this Winter.

Greens Presentation Evening

We held our first presentation evening last Tuesday and it was a great success, over 20 members attended and were treated to an excellent presentation by our Head Green Keeper, Terry Wharton and his Assistant, Dave Traynor.

Membership Opportunities

There are vacancies for membership in ALL categories. We would encourage our current members to introduce friends and acquaintances to the benefits of becoming a member of HAYDOCK PARK GOLF CLUB, as well as alerting the general populace to opportunities we currently have available and initiatives we have devised to retain and attract members.
