Founded in 1877, Haydock Park Golf Club is a well-established golf course situated near Haydock Park Racecourse. It is a mature parkland course of just over 6,000 yards. The course was designed by the famous golf course architect James Braid. You can find more information on James Braid by clicking here.
Haydock Park is one of the North West's premier golf clubs; it's tree-lined fairways and well bunkered greens make scoring well, a real challenge but it is always in excellent condition and a fair test of golf for both high and low handicappers. We welome visitors every day during the week except Tuesdays (Ladies only) and weekends.
Directions to the Club: Leave the M6 at junction 23; travel towards Manchester (A580) to the first roundabout. Turn back on yourself towards Liverpool. Take the first left turn (Newton Lane leading to Rob Lane). The Golf Club entrance is approx half a mile on the left immediately after the white bungalow.

BILL RENISON TROPHIES

Our team of Stephen Bowen, Matt Steele & Olly Gorman won the Bill Renison Handicap Trophy at Childwall on Sunday 24th May with an aggregate total of 236 - 19 = 217. Another cup for the cabinet!!
ARCHIE PRESTON MIXED FOURSOMES

We hosted the team from WORSLEY GC on Sunday 24th May in the 1st Round proper. A 5 - 2 win was secured with solid performances from the team as a whole. We are now in the last 32 of this event and the draw for the 2nd round will appear in early June.

We have now made the last 128 of this National competition by beating Huyton & Prescot 4 : 1.
We have been drawn to play away at Mere GC in Round 5. Match to be played by 14th June, 2009
